Societies Committee Reps 2016-17

Election for the Societies Committee Reps 2016-17. Societies Committee Reps support and represent each of the 9 categories of societies, using a seat on the Societies Committee to make democratic decisions on matters affecting societies. The Committee is chaired by the Activities Officer. Reps make democratic decisions on new society applications and funding applications, get involved in shortlisting for Student Awards, have a say in society development, support societies with funding applications and events and gather feedback from committee members on their experience with the intention of facilitating positive change. Societies Committee Reps will meet for 90 minutes once a week during term time and receive an initial training session, with ongoing support from the Societies Coordinator. Upload your manifesto and let everyone know why you should become a society committee rep. To nominate yourself you must be a committee member in a society in the relevant category.

9 posts are up for election.

Nominations close at 23:59 on Friday 16 September 2016 (in 3 weeks and 2 days)

The polls open at 09:00 on Monday 19 September 2016 (in 3 weeks and 4 days)
