BSMS Paediatric Society

BSMS PaedSoc is a student-run society aiming to inspire students to get involved with the exciting field of Child Health. The society aims to provide students with a specialist interest in paediatric healthcare the opportunity expand knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for a career in paediatric medicine.

We aim to provide the resources and environment neccessary for students with a specialist interest in paediatric healthcare to expand on academic and clinical skills relevant to a career in paediatric medicine, through a series of guest speakers, practical workshops and social events. We plan on inviting speakers from the frontiers of paediatrics to share their experiences with us, as well as organising fundraising events (such as the infamous ‘onesie’ social!), promoting health education within primary schools with the Teddy Bear Hospital, and hosting the National Medical School Paediatric Conference (NMSPC) each year.

We look forward to welcoming all new students with an interest in paediatrics to join us!
