Friends of Palestine

Sussex Friends of Palestine is a society for students from all social and cultural backgrounds to work to educate and inform people about the apartheid regime faced by the Palestinians and about the Palestinian struggle for Justice. We hope to translate our solidarity into effective action, particularly through BDS (boycott, divestment and sanctions) campaigns against Israel and against companies complicit in the oppression of Palestinians.

For decades the Palestinian people have been subjected to ethnic cleansing, military occupation and apartheid, as well as the continuing colonisation of their lands and destruction of their livelihoods. These injustices are not part of an ancient religious conflict, but are part of a modern, racist, and colonial system of oppression.

Join us and campaign on one of the most important issues of our time.

As well as the page linked on the right hand side we also have a Facebook group for organisation and discussion - search for 'Sussex Friends of Palestine Society' to find us.
