Concert Band

University of Sussex Concert Band

Hi we are a woodwind and Brass band who welcomes anyone from Sussex and Brighton's University community. We are none auditioning and welcome players of any standard to join :)

We have a new committee:

President – Jess Hurcum

Vice President / Welfare and Inclusivity Rep  – Chloe Boyd

Treasurer – Alexander Dixon

Secretary – Thomas Brady

Conductor – Euan Hossacks

Music consultants – Emma Coggins and Madeleine Levis

We aim to make this year bigger and better!

We are a very relaxed band and mostly play film music, medleys and some classical.

We try to make rehearsals fun and we hold socials throughout the year as well as Christmas Dinner and drinks in Falmer Bar!

Rehearsals will be every Tuesday from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Meeting Room 1 in Falmer House, and we put on a concert at the end of every term.

There will be a small fee of £10 for the year.

Hope to see you all there!
