2017-2018 mid Sussex league:

Sussex have entered two teams into the Mid Sussex Chess league, where we compete against other local teams. The tournament gives our strongest players the opportunity to play other top players in the County as well as giving our newer players the chance to play competitively.

Chessoc have been awarded the bronze social, development and inclusivity leaf award by the Students' Union in recognition of the fun, inclusive and engaging social activities we put on over the year for both members and non-members (2017).
