Welcome to the Sussex University Big Band!!
The Sussex University Big Band is comprised of the finest musicians that the university has to offer, all with a common interest - Jazz!
We have an extensive and constantly updating repertoire of jazz standards, jazzy arrangements of pop songs and even some cuban swing. Our tight, interchangeable set-list can be modified for any occasion, whether it be for a relaxed bar on a Friday night or black-tie ball.
We are available for hire to play at any event and provide extremely competitive rates for a professional full scale big band. If you are interested in hiring the Sussex Universities Big Band please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The band plays a large number of gigs every year across Brighton in hotels and bars and every year organise a tour over the summer. In the past the band have travelled to Dublin, Prague and Montreux to play in sold out shows! We are excited to announce that this year we will be travelling to Edinburgh!
