Ballet Society

Welcome to the Ballet society!!

Here we run free weekly ballet classes every wednesday from 2-4pm in Falmer house, Meeting Room 1 . These classes are taught by our external teacher, Wish, and are suitable for those who have never danced before to the experienced dancer.  In addition there are opportunities to attend local performances and any other activities - just suggest them to the committee.

Dancing begins on WEDNESDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2017. To this session please bring a £1 coin to sign up for membership for the year (please DO NOT buy the membership through the website).

It is reccomended to bring any ballet shoes you own, pointe included, or you can dance in bare feet or socks. Please wear clothing which you will be comfortable to dance in (no jeans please), but not so loose that it can get caught.

Unfortunately we can't accept members that do not attend on wednesday 27th, unless there is a valid reson (email w.m.m.sciretta@sussex.ac.uk), as this is a progressive course which fills up qickly in the beginning.

Please contact Wish with any questions via email, w.m.m.sciretta@sussex.ac.uk,

or contact the committee (Eliza, Paula and Lily) through the facebook group, https://www.facebook.com/groups/427772087614970/
