African & Caribbean Society (ACS)

Educate, Enlighten, Entertain

Our ethos completely embodies what we wish to execute this year for all of our members. Our desire is to celebrate a positive image of cultural diversity through a variety of mediums; from intellectual debates to laser tag, we will come together to not only break, but intermix the boundaries that society has moulded for us culturally.

  • Our events include:
  • Breaking The Ice - ACS Meet & Greet
  • Sussex ACS Freshers Party
  • Black History Month Showcase
  • Educational Talks/Debates
  • Football and Basketball tournaments
  • LOL Comedy Show
  • Culturefest
  • & much more!

Focusing your life solely on making a buck shows a certain poverty of ambition. Because its only when you hitch your wagon to something larger than yourself that you realise your true potential - Barack Obama
