Drag Society (DragSoc)

Welcome to the University of Sussex Drag Society!

AWARDED SUSSEX UNI'S 'BEST NEW SOCIETY' 2016/17

AWARDED THE TAB'S LGBT+ SOCIETY OF THE YEAR 2017/18

We are a group of people enthusiastic about the art of drag performance - exploring and blurring gender boundaries, improving live performance skills and appreciating the vast drag culture here in Brighton and across the rest of the world. With monthly events showcasing the best student drag around, we have made history being the UK's first student drag society!

We host:

  • Live performances
  • Screenings
  • Classes
  • Bar crawls/club nights

and much more!
