The Students' Union is delighted to announce that the prize draw winner is... Congratulations to Jodi Parslow, they are a Society Committee Member and a Student Rep and have won a £20 high street voucher.
"During my undergraduate degree, I volunteered my time both as a student mentor for neuroscience/lifesciences and as a student ambassador helping with open days and applicant days, giving talks and advice to prospective students. In my third year I was social secretary for Sussex PoleSoc and was in charge of organising social events for the society and I also dedicated time to teaching beginners. And now as a postgrad student I am getting involved by becoming the neuroscience PGT student rep and representing my cohort on the board of study for neuroscience and as member on the school teaching and learning committee. I love Sussex and the opportunities it has given me and I am so happy to be able to give back what I can to the Students Union!" Jodi Parslow
The Students' Union wouldn't be the same without the hundreds of students who spend their time making it so special. Twice a term we have been sharing stories from students who have given up their time to get involved in the Students’ Union and entered them into a prize draw to win prizes. There are many different ways to get involved depending on what your passion is; Campaigns, Student Reps, Buddy Scheme, Language Cafe, and through running a Sports club, Society or Student Media.
