University Vice-Chancellor to leave in 2016

The University's current Vice-Chancellor, Michael Farthing, will be leaving his role at the end of August 2016.

Chris Brodie, the Chair of the University's Council has informed Council members that the process to find a new Vice-Chancellor will begin now. They will be appointed by the end of August 2016 and Michael Farthing will leave the University at that time.

Abe, Students' Union President said:

I'm keen to ensure that students are involved in the selection of a new Vice-Chancellor and will be looking at this as part of the work we're doing on the wider governance of the University.
