Statement on allegations of misconduct

Union staff and officers are looking into allegations made about the conduct of a group who had been named online as our men’s rugby club.

We have established that the men’s rugby club are not at fault.

Investigations are continuing to establish who the individuals involved in this alleged incident are.

The Union’s safer space, zero tolerance, equality and diversity policies and code of conduct apply to all of our student groups and we take breaches of these very seriously.

Anyone who has any information about the alleged incident at 7.58pm on Wednesday 30 Sep at the Falmer station bus stop should contact Sarah Hall - sarah.h@sussexstudent.com
