On Thursday 30 October MEXSAS (Mexican and Latin American Students at Sussex Society) and the Students’ Union celebrated the traditional holiday Día de los Muertos.
The event is an annual commemoration of loved ones who have passed away; a time for remembrance but also a joyful celebration of life.
With a spoken word performance, traditional Pre-hispanic Aztec dancing and Pollito Boogaloo - a 6-piece live band - the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by both Latin American students and the wider campus community.
