Ray Everall, Liam Dewan, Dorian Milburn and Nate Tomkings recently represented Sussex University students as delegates at the NUS Trans Conference 2019, which took place from 30 - 31 January  in Manchester.

Sharing the delegates' experience at the Conference, Liam Dewan said:

"I found the NUS Trans Conference enjoyable and a safe environment for trans students to campaign. The acknowledgement of the different marginalised groups within the trans community was particularly helpful because it highlighted specific issues around representation. It was incredible to see all the fantastic work students are doing across the country, and we are all looking forward to putting what we learnt at the conference into action!"
