How did you get into Netball?

I played through primary school and was always in the circle as I was the tallest in my year. I enjoyed it so much that my parents found a local club for me to join in year 4 and I’ve played every year since.

What is your most memorable moment from Netball?

My first regional level match when I was 15 against a team that was known for being extremely rough, I wasn’t expecting to but I played the whole game feeling very nervous and we came away with a win!

As a woman, what do you feel like you get from Netball?

I enjoy being part of a team made up of my closest friends and we all work hard to achieve the same goal but still managing to have a laugh.

What would you say to a woman who was thinking about joining Netball?

There are so many things you can improve at by playing netball, not only physically but being able to work hard in a team, take criticism, motivate a group of people, committing your time to improving yourself. Some of the best skills I have learnt have been through netball, all the while you get to have fun with your friends and challenge yourself to do better at something each week.
