Join the Societies Committee and help shape how societies are funded, have your say in society development and have a place on the shortlisting panel for the Societies category of the Student Awards! 

You'll be joining a friendly, informal committee of students who are passionate about societies.

Timeline

Nominations open at 15:00 on Friday 8 February.

The polls open at 06:00 on Thursday 14 February 2019 and close on friday 15 February 2019 at 15:00.

Results will be announced on Friday afternoon, with the newly elected rep expected to commence their role the following week!

By becoming a Society Rep you will gain valuable experience that you can add to your CV including negotiation, chairing meetings/discussions, leadership, working with key stakeholders and time management.

The time commitment for this role is one 90 minute meeting each week during term-time for the spring semester. The meetings are held on Tuesdays from 1-2.30pm and you must be available to attend this time to join the committee.
