If you are a Society Committee Member, it is fast approaching the time when you need to handover the reigns of your society to a new Committee! Of course, before you can do this, a new Committee needs to be elected. You must have carried out your election and completed & submitted the handover form by 3rd May 2017 to continue as a society next year!
You can elect your new committee members however you like; in a meeting with all of your society members present; via a paper ballot; or online at www.sussexstudent.com - which is the way that we recommend. Setting up elections on your society's mini-site is a really easy process and is all explained in the step by step tutorial videos, linked below.
Before you start your election, you must add all of your committee positions to your society's mini-site. To do this, view the video below or click here to view the tutorial video on Facebook and follow the simple instructions.
Once you have added your committee positions, you can create your election. Watch the video below or (click here to view on Facebook). This will take you step by step through the process of setting up your election.
Once your election has taken place, you need to email firstname.lastname@example.org to request the results. Lastly, to make your new committee official and to complete the handover process, you must fill out the online handover form by clicking here.
