Sussex’s very own student television channel, UniTV, recently celebrated a huge success at the NaSTA Conference and Awards 2017. In total, the group won four awards and were highly commended in a further two categories:
Winner Best Drama: ‘UniTV Does Black Mirror’
Winner Best Cinematography: ‘UniTV Does Black Mirror’
Winner Best Factual: ‘How Many Particles Are You Made Of?’
Winner Best Marketing
Highly Commended Best Title Sequence: ‘Science Uncovered’
Highly Commended Special Recognition
Seb Cox, Head of Technology at UniTV, had this to say about the triumph:
I have been left immensely proud of the UniTV team. Being one of the smaller stations at NaSTA and to be so successful reflects the aspiration and passion of its members. Everyone pushes themselves above and beyond in creativity and determination. It has been such an inspiring community to be a part of.

UniTV was launched in 2010 and welcomes new students, with wide ranging of media knowledge every year.
