Students' Union election results 2017

This week, thousands of students have voted in the Union elections and referenda. We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part as a candidate and to everyone who voted. Thanks for getting involved and being part of students deciding the future of the Union.

A breakdown of the results for the Full-time Officers is below and will be added over the weekend for the other positions.

Complaints concerning the procedure of an election or the election count should be raised with the Returning Officer returning@sussexstudent.com or Deputy Returning Officer by Friday 10th of March. You can find more details about the complaint procedure in the Election Rules & Guidelines

Results

Neither referenda attracted enough voters for their decisions to be binding so they will not become the Union’s policies.
