Organising Balls Workshop

Balls are a popular way to celebrate the achievements of a society. Adele, our Activities Officer, has advocated running a workshop on how to organise a ball to help committee members to make the event a success. Having seen the success of societies including maths, geogsoc, BMeC, medsoc; a lot more societies have expressed their interest in creating a ball for their members. Adele and Charlie, our societies administrator, along with our events team will be presenting a workshop on how to create a fantasic ball and how to run the event seamlessly.

The workshop will go over:

  • How long it takes to organise a ball
  • Venues
  • The services that the Student’s Union provide
  • Other services you might need
  • And other things you might like to think about

The event will take place in Meeting Room 1, from 2pm-3.30pm on Monday 30 January.
