Spring 2018 referendum results

This week, students have cast their votes to influence the work that the Students’ Union does through our spring referendum. 961 students made their voices heard on three different referenda; whether the Union should continue to support the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, whether the Union should oppose the government's Prevent legislation, and whether the Union should adopt the proposed Gender Equality policy.

Whether you campaigned in the referenda or cast your vote, you have been a part of making change happen at Sussex, so thank you for getting involved!

If you are interested in having a cause you care about put to a student referendum, you can find out your options for submitting your referendum proposal.

Please be aware that deadline for making a complaint about the conduct of another campaigner or the result of the a referendum will pass at 6pm today (4th May). If you’d like to make a complaint about the procedure of the referenda or the referenda count then you have until next Friday 11th May at 6pm to do so.
