One World Week gives Sussex students and staff an opportunity to share aspects of their own cultures with others, promote cultural understanding and explore global issues.
Thousands of students and many Sussex staff take part in this special annual celebration - attending events that showcase food, language and culture. Most events are organised by student societies, with support and funding from the University of Sussex and the Students' Union, and others are run by Sussex staff.
If you'd like to host an event for this year's One World Week, please use the forms below. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday 13th December.

One World Sussex is run collaboratively by the University of Sussex and the Students' Union. It is a celebration of the diversity of cultures in our community.
The array of nationalities and cultures making up our community at the University was the inspiration for us to put on events which engage, educate and entertain - from raising awareness of global concerns through lectures, to celebrating cultural festivals and putting on dance shows - all under the One World Sussex umbrella.
We hope to nurture the integration of all our students and staff through this sharing of cultures, and to promote our shared identity as a global community.
One World Sussex aims to:
Develop an appreciation of different cultures
Cultivate an understanding of global issues
Showcase personal development opportunities
Highlight international opportunities for Sussex students and staff from different backgrounds
Foster a sense of global community
