FREE creative and interactive cookery workshops led by Vicky from Bin Cooking, using locally donated surplus food.
These workshops will help you plan your meals, gain confidence and skills in the kitchen, and manage and reduce your food waste. Not only will this help you to throw away less food which reduces your negative environmental impact, it will also save you money!
- In the UK households waste around 22 per cent of all the food they buy. Wasting this food costs the average household around £60 a month.
- The UK throw away 7 million tonnes of food and drink every year from home.
- Each of us throws away on average 110kg of food a year.
Places are FREE but please sign-up here to guarantee a place. There is 10 places for each workshop and we will have a waiting list for each one in case there are cancellations.
