Full-time Elected Officers
Full-time Officers, or 'sabbatical officers', are elected every spring and lead the Union for a year. There are six positions, each one has responsibility for different areas of Union activity.
Full-time elected officers get paid a basic wage and work full-time. They are still classed by the Students' Union as students whilst they are in office.
They have to submit monthly reports of what they've been doing and they can also publish blog posts.
Their offices are all on the first floor of Falmer House so feel free to pop in and chat.
Who can be a Full-time Officer?
Nominations are open until 9am Monday 5th March to stand in the full-time officer elections.
Any student can nominate themselves in the Full-time Officer elections.
Students often run for full-time officer positions in their final year of study, but students from any year of study can 'intermit' (suspend their degree course) to become a full-time elected officer.
