Union Computers

We are a friendly on-campus computer and laptop repair service offering free advice and low cost repairs.

Union Computers is run by a team of fully-trained student volunteers and we're always looking for new volunteers.

We're in Falmer House and are open 12 - 4pm Tuesday to Friday during term-time.

Volunteering offers a fantastic experience for students. Whether talking to customers or dealing with repairs in the Engineers' area, a Union Computers Engineer practises a broad range of communication, problem-solving and customer service skills. All of this looks brilliant on a CV and provides valuable experience. And we want you on board!

We need people who:

- Have a clear understanding of troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with desktops and laptops
- Can work through problems clearly & concisely
- Possess the ability to work with a variety of operating systems and platforms

Full training will be given!
