Welcome to the newest and most exciting society to splash onto campus - Swim Sussex =)

What? whether you're a pro wanting to represent your uni at BUC's and other galas, want to improve your fitness or just want to stand in the shallow end without getting your hair wet, we have something for everyone. And we mean everyone!

When? Wednesdays 530-630. If you're about on campus then meet at Stanmer court bus stop at 425 to catch the number 23 bus to the pool.

Where? The swimming pool is here --> http://www.brightonswimmingcentre.com/location.html you can always meet us at the pool if it's better for you.

Cost: We run not-for-profit so all we need to cover is the cost of pool hire. We divide this by the number of people that show up, so bring a friend to make it cheaper. In the future, we aim to save money by block booking the pool, so will ask for a termly membership fee. This will hopefully be less than £35. We won't ask you to buy Sports Membership (which is £60 and needed for every other sports club) so this is a real bargain!

Socials: As with all sports societies, Oceana on Wednesdays is key to us. As is fancy dress. But we do realise this isn't everyone cup of tea and 9ams can falter fun plans, so we have socials bowling, at the comedy club and any other liver-friendly activity we can think of =) (ideas are always welcome)

We need YOU!

Do you have.. a UKCC/ASA Level 1 or 2 swimming teaching qualification? Well we would love to get you involved in helping organise sessions and provide stroke technique to swimmers.

Want something glittery and v.impressive to put on your CV? Well, why not join our committee? We are always in need of more people to help organise sessions, sweet talk some sponsorship money, or just turn up with nice neat handwriting to fill in the register, if this could be you then get in touch.
