Whether outdoor or indoor, team or individual, students at Sussex benefit from being able to get involved in a wide range of competitive and leisure activities provided by the Union and the University.

Sport at Sussex is broad and diverse with something for everyone, regardless of experience so whether you're into running, catching, climbing, skiing or hitting things with sticks why not take a look at what's on offer?

Sportivate taster sessions

We're offering a fresh start at University and an opportunity to try any of these activities for just £1 per session (or free for Students' Union Sport members) for 6 or 8 week beginners' courses led by fully qualified and friendly coaches

Archery  Trampolining  Fencing  Netball  Ultimate Frisbee  Squash

Archery starts on Saturday 21st January in the Sports Centre between 4pm and 6pm and runs for 6 weeks.

Fencing starts on Sunday 22nd January at 6pm and 8pm in the Sports Centre and runs for 8 weeks.  

These sessions are open to students and staff of all abilities and are aimed at those who haven't taken part in these activities at Sussex before.

All of these courses are offered at just £1 per session or free of charge to Students' Union Sport members.

Participants will need to pay for the full course in advance (£6/£8). If you join Students' Union Sport during your course we'll refund the course cost.

Reps from these Students' Union sports clubs will be present at each session to help with coaching and answer your questions about joining their club.
