Sports Reps 2016/17

Sports Reps panel represents the student voice within sport. They make key decisions on the following issues: · Sports events (Varsity, joint socials/ fundraising) · Sports funding applications · Sports budgeting decisions through participatory budgeting · Sports disciplinary · Sports development decisions · Input in the new sports building · Shortlisting Student Awards · Run tour and get a tour discount · Sports Leaves award scheme As a Sports Rep you will meet for one hour a week and discuss these issues. This is your chance to have your say on sport at Sussex. The panel collectively represents all of the student community including LGBTQ+, women in sport, BME and Disability in sport. As a sports rep you are rewarded with the following: Free sport membership Free sports reps hoody discounted/free tour *depending on tour numbers* To apply you must first be a sports club member and logged into your account. Upload your manifesto as to why you would like to represent the Sussex sports community as a sports rep? Nominations will take place from the Monday 25th- Friday 29th April. Voting will open on Monday 2nd - Friday 6th May.
