Shops & Bars

We run a number of shops and bars on campus whose profits go back into the Students' Union - £183,500 in 2011!

Using our shops and bars means your money stays on campus and goes back to benefit students.

We offer flexible jobs for students and employ an average of 140 students across our shops and bars.

We'd love to have your feedback (good and bad!) and input to ensuring all our services are what you want so contact us if you have any comments.

► Union Shop - Falmer House

Located on the ground floor of Falmer House at the entrance of the University, the Union Shop is a one-stop convenience store supplying life's necessities to get you through your day on campus.

With hot takeaway drinks and a pint of milk first thing in the morning, delicious Bagelman bagels and fresh sandwiches at lunchtime and pizza and a bottle of wine to go home with later on, there really is something for everyone at the Union Shop.

As well as food and drink, we sell a great range of stationery, household essentials, discounted Saver bus tickets, giftware and we are the only place to sell Sussex branded hoodies and apparel.

Opening times:
Term-time: Monday-Friday 8am-9pm (Off-licence from 5pm)
Holidays: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
