The University of Sussex Women’s Rugby team is a flourishing and successful squad with an exciting competitive future. Being a university team we are always looking for new members to join our squad. With support from great coaches and a fun loving and friendly team we cater for all abilities. So whether you consider yourself to be a bit of an expert or have no idea how anyone... could play a sport with such an odd shaped ball, this team is definitely for you!!

Don’t worry though, we are not only about working hard on the pitch, being such a social team we’re all about working hard and playing hard. Amongst many other fun activities throughout the year EVERY Wednesday night WITHOUT FAIL the team heads into town to OCEANA for sports fed night where you will meet many other members of Sussex sports teams... and all of this in a different fancy dress each time.

Well supported by the Men’s team, this team has gone from strength to strength over previous seasons and now play in the BUCS South Eastern 1A league, so we have more games and need more people to come along and give it a go, no matter what your experience or ability, you'll be more than welcome in our team.
