Come and check out our very own allotment located on-campus, behind the Brighthelm residential block at the north of the field!

Workdays every Wenesday from 2pm!

We also want to organise a Sunday get together as many keen growers are already busy with other societies on Wednesday afternoons!

The garden, which was transformed from the old university allotments into a permaculture design caters for practical education... Education which most students cannot access in the lecture theatre! We learn from each other, experience and our environment!

Aiming to learn how to provide for our basic needs such as growing our own food, local herblore and crafts, we follow organic principals, incorporating permaculture as much as possible with its 3 main principles: care for earth, care for people and fairly sharing the results :)

We are planning to have some trips to local environmental centres, permaculture allotments and sustainable buildings!

Many of us attend the fantastic Environmental Society and then head on up to the allotment on mass afterwards...

The Environmental Society meets every Wednesday between 1-2 in Falmer House Room 228!

See you in the field!
