► Horse Riding Club Information

If you are interested in horse-riding and other associated horse-riding events this is the club to join.

The committee makes arrangements for the members to ride in local horse-riding schools once a week/fortnight. This year there will also hopefully be an opportunity for riders to get involved in competitions within the region.

Due to most of the riding schools in Brighton only allowing experienced riders to go out on hacks we thought that a fair way to go about this would be to suggest everyone has lessons during the autumn term while the weather isn't that good, then come the spring term when the weather is nicer we can enjoy some hacks along the Sussex Downs. We are currently trying to get some money from the Union in order to cut the costs of the lessons. Once we know if we are eligable for some funding we can let you know the prices for the lessons.

This year we are also planning on organising some socals for everyone as this is a great way to meet new people. There are also been talk of going on a riding weekend and some fancy dress rides.
