► Women's Cricket at Sussex

Women's Cricket at Sussex is a friendly, fun and social sport, where we welcome everyone regardless of playing experience or ability! Our number one aim is to have fun, either in training, during matches or in a more social environment!

09/10 season was an amazing season for us, with the highlight being quarter-finalists in the BUCS tournament!

We hope that the 10/11 season will be equally as successful, with the help of new coaching staff, equipment and players!

We hold weekly socials, on Wednesday evenings, starting on campus at Falmer bar and moving into Brighton, where we tear Oceana up! Each week there is a different fancy dress theme; always proving to be great fun and the basis for some hilarious photos! We will also be doing a number of non-alcohol related socials such as bowling and pudding party.

10/11 will be the first year of tour for Women's cricket, something we are all VERY excited about! This will run for one week during the Easter break, allowing us enough time to recover before the start of the summer term, and our league matches!
