Our Co-Op vacancies have now been filled and we're very excited about the people we have recruited.  Thank you to all who applied as well as all who attended one of our Selection Events.  We know we have not selected some excellent people however we cannot stress how strong the competition was and hope you get suitable work elsewhere soon.

For Sussex University students wanting advice on applying for work here, please contact the excellent Careers and Employability Centre on 01273 678429, or by going to www.sussex.ac.uk/careers.  Their help is particually recommended for International Students who may be unused to applying for work using a UK skills based framework.

Our recruitment is based on current research and recognised guidelines, but our approach might be new to you, especially if you are used to applying for work outside the UK. As we want you to be able to present your skills and experiences in the best possible way, we've pulled together some Dos and Don'ts advice [Word document] to help you apply for work here.

Other options

Virtually all of our departments offer volunteer roles which can give volunteers a rewarding experience as well as invaluable skill development.  Volunteer opportunities include being part of our Events Team or Welcome Team, running a club or society, being a student rep, being part of our Front of House team or volunteering in our Advice & Representation Centre.
