Find us

Our building, Falmer House is the first building you come to as you turn off the A27 from Brighton or walk from Falmer train station. Falmer Bar is in Falmer House, East Slope Bar is at the other end of the campus by the East Slope residences.

We are based on the University of Sussex campus in Falmer, near Brighton, on the south coast of the United Kingdom. We encourage you to use sustainable transport options to visit us. There are good train and bus links to our campus or you can walk or cycle from the surrounding area.

By Train
Falmer train station is directly opposite the University campus. Pedestrian access is through a subway under the A27 - follow signs for the University of Sussex (the University of Brighton has a campus at Falmer too). Our building, Falmer House, is the first you come to as you walk onto the campus. Falmer is on the line between Brighton and Lewes, about eight minutes' travel time in each direction. Four trains an hour go there during the day time. Visitors travelling via London and the west should take a train to Brighton and change there for Falmer. The journey time from London to Brighton is just under an hour. You can also change at Lewes for Falmer, if you are coming from the east.
