Advice

The Advice & Representation Centre  can give you free, independent and confidential information, advice and support on a range of academic and non-academic issues.

We have professional advisers and elected student representatives and the service is completely confidential, independent from the University and no issue is too big or too small for us to deal with.

The Students' Union is here to help you make the most of your time at Sussex so if there's something bugging you that you think is likely to be affecting other students as well tell us about it by filling in our online form.

We are pleased to announce that there is now a lift in Falmer House reception providing access to the Student Advice Centre for wheelchair users and students with mobility difficulties.
 
We are endeavouring to stock a selection of our most popular publications in alternative formats for visually-impaired students.

If you are deaf or have a hearing impairment and wish to speak with an adviser, please contact us so that we can arrange an appointment with you with a portable induction loop.

The grants and benefits described in this section are primarily for UK students. If you are an EU or international student, please take a look at our information for international students for general advice and see the useful contacts section for more specific information with regard to disabled students.

The Students' Union is here to help you make the most of your time at Sussex so if there's something that's creating an obstacle to you living to your full potential we want to know so we can try to do something about it. If there's something bugging you that you think is likely to be affecting other students as well tell us about it by filling in our online rant form.
