Activities Committee

Activities Committee is responsible for overseeing sport, societies and volunteering. Following a recently agreed (December 2011) restructure, most day-to-day decisions, including the allocation of funds, will be carried out by three sub-committees – one for each of these areas.

The Activities Committee itself will meet 2-3 times per term.  It is composed of four of the full-time officers (President, Communications, Activities and Operations), students chosen to represent Union societies, sports clubs, student media, and also representatives of Union Council.

Committee minutes 2011-12

The first meeting in December 2011 finalized the new committee structure and agreed to ratify decisions so far made on funding applications from sports and societies.  Meeting minutes 5th December 2011.
